Liverpool can end the year 13 points clear at the top of the Premier League table if they beat Wolves at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.

The Reds have enjoyed a stunning season so far, winning 17 and drawing one of their 18 games so far, leaving them a long, long way ahead of their nearest challengers.

Wolves are also enjoying a great campaign, with their surprise victory over Manchester City on Friday keeping them within striking distance of the Champions League places.

Nuno Espirito Santo will not be thrilled with the scheduling having played just two days ago against the Premier League champions, while Liverpool have had an extra day off since their crushing win over Leicester on Boxing Day.
