Liverpool go into this contest 13 points clear at the top of the table with two games in hand of their nearest rivals, Manchester City.
United are in fifth, 27 points worse off than the Reds.

Klopp is able to welcome back Fabinho and Joel Matip from injury, although neither are likely to feature from the start after lenghty spells on the sidelines.
Dejan Lovren is not quite fit yet due to a thigh injury, while Naby Keita and James Milner remain out.
Marcus Rashford is the major concern for Manchester United after suffering a back injury against Wolves in the FA Cup and may not be risked, but will be given as long as possible to prove his fitness.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will not have Scott McTominay, Paul Pogba, Marcos Rojo or Axel Tuanzebe available, but Luke Shaw and Eric Bailly are pushing for a return and face late fitness tests.
