Liverpool predicted line-up and team news for Premier League trip to West Ham

Liverpool’s senior stars will return as Jurgen Klopp’s side face West Ham aiming to go 19 points clear at the top of the Premier League on Wednesday night.

Reds boss Klopp rested most of his first-teamers as a team of young players and fringe squad members were held 2-2 by Shrewsbury Town in the FA Cup.

The replay will be at Anfield next Tuesday, and Klopp has controversially said neither he nor his senior players will be there as he has already granted them a week off during the Premier League’s winter break.

But there will be no such issue at London Stadium on Wednesday night, with Klopp set to field a full-strength team as Liverpool play their game in hand over defending champions Manchester City in second place and third-placed Leicester City.

Klopp’s side been one game behind their erstwhile title rivals since last month’s trip to Qatar where they lifted the Club World Cup.

Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah look set to return to the starting lineup for Wednesday night’s trip to West Ham

Liverpool forward Sadio Mane will miss the next two matches with a muscle tear but should be available for the trip to Norwich immediately after the mid-season break.

Divock Origi looks set to keep his place in Mane’s absence, while Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez, Virgil van Dijk, Andy Robertson; Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jordan Henderson, Georginio Wijnaldum; Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firminocould could all return to the starting lineup.

Fabinho is also available and is pushing for his first Premier League start since the end of November following injury.

West Ham will be desperate to stop Liverpool from extending their huge lead at the top, with David Moyes’ side in serious relegation danger as they are level on points with 18th-placed Bournemouth and Watford, who are 19th.
