Sander Berge hint

Liverpool target Sander Berge has dropped a massive transfer hint.

The 21-year-old Norwegian international has been linked with Liverpool and Manchester United in recent weeks.

Reds manager Jurgen Klopp was reported to have spoken with the Genk midfielder after a recent Champions League encounter.

And his words have clearly done the trick with Berge admitting that he wants to play at Anfield “as much as possible”.

“Playing at Anfield is a dream for everyone in the world, and not least for Norwegians,” Berge said to TV2. “Liverpool are the best team and have the most fans. So I could certainly like to play at Anfield as often as possible.”

Adam Lallana to PSG

Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana is wanted by PSG as the Ligue 1 champions look to find a replacement for Edinson Cavani who looks set to make the switch to Major League Soccer.

The 31-year-old is in the final year of his contract with the Reds and would be available to discuss terms with a foreign club in January about securing a free transfer move in the summer.

The Mirror claim PSG see the former England international as an ideal replacement for the out going Cavani.

The report claims Cavani is swapping Paris for Los Angeles to fill the vacant position left by Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

And the subsequent move could suit Liverpool as it would take Lallana’s substantial wages off their books – money that could be put towards signing Bournemouth’s Ryan Fraser.

Wanted: Joe Gelhardt

Chelsea have joined Man Utd and Liverpool in the race to sign Wigan Athletic striker Joe Gelhardt.

The 17-year-old might have only made eight first-team appearances for Wigan this season, but his talent has caught the attention of several Premier League clubs.

And according to the Daily Star, Manchester United and Liverpool have now been joined by Chelsea in the hunt to sign the youngster.

The report claims the Latics are unlikely to sell the England under-18 captain in the January window, but that would suit Chelsea as they are currently still serving a transfer ban.

VVD out

Liverpool star Virgil van Dijk has left the Holland camp.

The centre-back featured as Ronald Koeman’s side ground out a goalless draw with Northern Ireland in Sunday’s European Championship qualifier.

But he has now left the squad due to “personal circumstances”.

“The captain of the Dutch national team has to let go of the game due to personal circumstances and has since left the Orange training camp,” the Dutch FA wrote on their official website.
