Liverpool have perfect sweetener for Kai Havertz transfer if Jurgen Klopp doubles down

Those hopes are dwindling now though after a slightly disappointing second spell in Germany and Klopp now has a huge decision to make on his future.

It’s a risk that could be reduced by the comfort of a buy-back clause.

Bundesliga clubs are more than aware of his quality and would jump at the chance of a permanent deal should Liverpool decide to sell.

He’s worth around £25m, which would knock off a large portion of the £90m being quoted for Havertz.

The Serbian is only 23 and is expected to explode in the next few years.
