The Reds title rival host Leicester on Monday night – and three home points will mean they would only need to win at Brighton on the final day to capture the championship.

Ramy Abbas Issa has gone back to his student days to try and inspire Brandan Rodgers’ side to an A* performance.

Abbas, a qualified lawyer, graduated from the University of Leicester in 2005.

He posted a picture of his big day in the city on Instagram in his gown – and Salah’s agent wants his former home town team to do his client a favour.

Another said: “I LOVVVVE the reference in this.”

Salah is set to miss the Champions League semi-final against Barcelona at Anfield on Tuesday.

Kop boss Jurgen Klopp revealed the Egyptian striker suffered a nasty bang on the head in a collision with Newcastle goalkeeper Martin Dubravka – and is struggling to face Barcelona.

Salah is out of the Barcelona second leg

“Mo got the hip of the goalie on his head and was on the ground and the doc had to make a decision, on the pitch or off the pitch and the decision was off” said Klopp.

“We accept that. When he came in he was sitting in dressing room he was watching the game.

“He was then fine but we have to wait. He got a proper knock in that situation.

Can Brendan Rodgers rescue his old side?

“For Barcelona I don’t know. I cannot write your headlines. I said what I have to say.”

Liverpool will also be without Roberto Firmino who missed the game at Newcastle with a groin injury and is struggling to play again this season.

Klopp knows an early goal is crucial if they are to overturn Barca’s 3-0 advantage.
