Liverpool fans in meltdown over Kylian Mbappe transfer as PSG star makes big decision

That’s after reports emerged that the France forward is ready to quit his current club.

Spanish outlet Marca have now claimed that the former Monaco striker is adamant he wants to leave PSG.

Real Madrid are said to be his favoured destination but Liverpool fans want Jurgen Klopp to make a move for Mbappe.

The 20-year-old is regarded as one of the best strikers in the world.

And Liverpool fans think Mbappe could add huge quality to an already great side that won the Champions League last season.

One said: “Sign Mbappe @John_W_Henry for Liverpool. We will rule for the next decade.”

Another added: “Mbappe to Liverpool confirmed”.

“Announce Mbappe to Liverpool,” a third exclaimed.

A fourth has a theory and said: “Mbappe was linked with Real Madrid before, and he randomly just says he would pick Liverpool on Fifa.

“CL Champions or not, that wasn’t random. The transfer window is opened.

“Not saying we are signing him, I’m saying something is defo being discussed behind closed doors #LFC”.

Mbappe netted a whopping 39 times last season as well as contributing 17 assists to his team-mates.

The forward spoke about his future when picking up the Ligue 1 Player of the Year award earlier this month.

He said: “It’s very important moment for me, I come to a turning point in my career.

“I have discovered a lot here, and I feel it is perhaps the moment to have more responsibility.

“I hope that can maybe be at Paris Saint-Germain, that would be a great pleasure, or perhaps elsewhere with a new project.”

PSG boss Thomas Tuchel admitted shortly after that both Neymar and Mbappe could leave the club this summer, but made his opinion on wanting them to stay clear.

Speaking at a press conference, he said: “As a coach, I do want them to continue, but this is football, we are not naive.

“Many clubs want to transfer many players and the market is crazy, but if you ask me, the coach, yes, I want them here next season.

“But if they are not, we will find solutions.”
