Jesy Nelson and Chris Hughes are celebrating their one-year anniversary, and the couple couldn’t stop smiling as they headed out to mark the occasion.
The Little Mix star, 28, and Chris, 27, went hand in hand as they left London’s Moonshine Saloon with massive grins on their faces.
The couple have been dating since January 2019, and marked a very happy 12 months together at the Western themed bar.
The pair co-ordinated their outfits for date night as Jesy went for a white cropped top with jeans and white knee-high boots and a tiny Balenciaga handbag while Chris went for a white tee and camo trousers.
Jesy shared a series of videos from inside the Moonshine Saloon on her Instagram stories, where actors dressed in cowboy outfits joined them at their table.
These two love a themed date, having first been spotted together at a Harry Potter cocktail-making experience, and have also had date nights at prison-themed bars in orange jumpsuits.
The Moonshine Bar requires you to take your own liquor along and smuggle it in, to replicate what it was like during the prohibition, which the bartenders will mix into cocktails for guests.
Despite it being their anniversary, Jesy and Chris brought some of their friends along to celebrate with them, including Chris Drake – you may remember him as little Chris from Towie – as well as other pals.
Jesy shared some cute pics of the pair of them from their night out, telling her followers: ‘Been with this little scamp a whole year today!
‘I can honestly say I’ve never been more in love and happy in all my life! I love you rat bag @chrishughesofficial forever and always.’
Chris also posted his own tribute to Jesy, reading: ‘1 year! This time last year I just finished snogging ya face off in a kebab shop. A memory my heart can’t life [sic] without. Role model and all round queen. You got it all girl. Forever.’
Chris also shared photos of them kissing in a kebab shop in Elephant and Castle, revealing to his followers that that was the end of the couple’s very down-to-earth first date.
Jesy and Chris have been serving serious couple goals for the past 365 whole days, supporting each other through thick and thin in the past year.
Chris was one of Jesy’s most vocal supporters as she debuted her documentary, Odd One Out, in which she spoke about being driven to the brink of suicide by cruel trolls.
They also regularly post loved up photos and videos on their social media channels to the delight of fans, and judging by how happy they look on their anniversary there’s a lot more to come.
