Now fans believe they’re preparing to launch a new song that day in celebration of the milestone.

Posting a video featuring songs, footage and pictures from across the ten years, the last piece of music hadn’t been heard before.

It led to speculation they’re planning on releasing a surprise track on Thursday.

One fan said: “AHHHH OKAY so the last song sounds like a new one and sounds like they’re singing ‘us us’ so maybe a ten year anniversary song about their time together.”

Another added: “OMG NEW MUSICCCC.”

Someone else said: “This is wild. No matter what it is… We’re ready for this next chapter.”

Meanwhile their ex bandmate Jesy Nelson is preparing for her solo debut.

Last night Jesy shared a teaser on Instagram of her first solo song. On top of the stormy-sounding dance track, she says: “For me, this is the music I’ve always wanted to make.”

It comes as a surprise to fans after Jesy revealed her decision last December to step away from the band to focus on mental health struggles.

It disappointed fans and bandmates, but the girls all vowed to stay close and supportive.

Yet just eight months later, Jesy is set to release her debut solo material — and insiders are predicting that her strikingly similar sound and image to Little Mix’s will only spark fresh acrimony between the former pals, who now communicate almost exclusively via lawyers.

In snippets from what appears to be the video for the single, Jesy poses in an all-white outfit in an industrial lift and appears to cry as she works with her dancers.

She continues: “I don’t think that anyone is going to expect this. This is the new chapter for me.

“If you genuinely believe something enough and you want it to happen, you can make it happen.”

Last week she joined a troupe of 20 dancers for a video shoot in London for the single, which sources say will be released next month.

And as one industry source forecast, while Jesy’s fans will be delighted to see her return, the timing and nature of her comeback is likely to spark new frustration with her ex-bandmates.

The source said: “Things have got progressively more strained, but seeing her return with a song and an image that could have been taken straight from the Little Mix playbook is going to be very divisive.

“The girls always vowed to stay friends after all they had been through, but now most of their communication happens through intermediaries including lawyers and managers, which is a real shame.

CONSTANT PRESSURE

“Jesy’s new video shoot could have been a Little Mix single, it’s packed with choreography and the style is very similar too.

“Her new label wanted to strike while the iron is hot, but the other girls are just going to wonder why on earth she had to quit the band if she was going to come back a matter of months later with a style that looks almost identical.

“And she actually recorded the music months ago, so it feels like putting two fingers up at them.”

In a statement before Jesy stepped out of the limelight late last year, she said: “Being in the band has really taken a toll on my mental health.

“I find the constant pressure of being in a girl group and living up to expectations very hard.”

She added that she was quitting the band “with a heavy heart”, but needed to “spend time with the people I love” and “embark on a new chapter”.

Her bandmates told fans they were fully supportive of the decision, adding: “We love her very much and agree that it is so important that she does what is right for her mental health and well-being,” before they confirmed plans to continue as a trio.

The beauty revealed her first release as a solo artist will be “sooner than you think” – and fans are now worried it could coincide with Little Mix’s milestone anniversary.

The group will have been together for 10 years on 19 August, with the girls being immortalised at Madame Tussauds in celebration of the huge occasion.
