Little Mix reveal drastic safety measures on socially distanced music video for Holiday

LITTLE Mix have revealed the drastic measures taken to shoot their latest music video for Holiday amid the ongoing pandemic.

The girl group, consisting of Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson and Jade Thirlwall, were forced to undergo temperature checks ahead of arriving on set this week.

The finished product will also see the former X Factor winners be “super-imposed” together after shooting the video whilst socially distanced.

Speaking on the Capital Evening Show with Jimmy Hill, Perrie, 27 revealed: “I mean it was a very bizarre experience.

“It was like, everybody had to fill out forms, everybody had to wear masks and visors who were on set, there was only a certain number of people on set. We had to get our temperature taken.

“We had to stay far away from each other, and they are going to somehow super-impose it. So we were together, but we were distanced, so it’s so clever how they’ve done it, and we saw an edit yesterday and we gagged. It’s insane.”

The girls were snapped following their first rehearsals in four months earlier this week.

Emerging from the studios, the group were dressed for a standard British July day – in cosy trousers and thick sweatshirts.

Meanwhile, Jade, 27, completed her look with a protective blue face mask.

It came days after the band dropped their new single Holiday.

The summer song is taken from their upcoming sixth studio album and the timing couldn’t be more perfect.

Unveiling the song on Friday (July 24), the girls tweeted: “We’re so proud of this one… hope it takes you all on a much needed getaway.”

It’s certainly been a whirlwind few months for the usually busy girlband, who were forced to isolate separately during lockdown.

However, it certainly hasn’t impacted their bank balance.

Earlier this month, we revealed how Jade, Jesy and Perrie made a whopping £700,000 in a year – on top of their millions.

They set up new private firms in 2018. After allowing for bills they made £500,000 in profits between them.

Tune into the Capital Evening Show with Jimmy Hill, Monday – Thursday 7pm – 10pm.
