Little girl has people in stitches as she tries to pretend to like mum's cooking

A little girl has captured the hearts of the internet and been urged to consider a career in acting after a video of her pretending to like her mum’s cooking was shared online.

In a 17-second clip that was posted online, a four-year-old child, named Piper, can be seen eating as her mother asks if she’s enjoying her food.

As she chews, Piper switches between looking like she’s having a great time and looking like she’s about to throw up – a mixture which makes for pure comedy gold!

At the start of the video, the parent, Annie Wilkins, can be heard asking: “How is it?”

Hilariously Piper replies “good” before visibly gagging.

The video was first shared by Annie back in April and was later reposted by Rex Chapman.

It has recently resurfaced and is doing the rounds on Twitter once again – much to everyone’s delight.

Rex captioned his post: “This little girl pretending to like mommy’s cooking is the Twitter content I’m here for…”

The video has been viewed over seven million times and garnered more than 192,000 likes.

People couldn’t stop laughing at the youngster’s expressions in the video.

“She has an acting career in her future,” replied one Twitter user.

Another commented: “I’m gagging along with her while watching.”

A third said: “This is amazing. What the hell did she feed her?!?!”

“I can’t quit watching this, I almost peed my pants,” tweeted someone else.

A different user added: “I enjoyed her suffering waaaaay too much.”

Annie’s original post revealed that the food Piper had been eating was spaghetti.

Alongside the video, she wrote: “My daughter pretending to like my spaghetti #spaghettidryheaves.”

Speaking to In The Know at the time, Annie admitted she was surprised by Piper’s reaction to the dish, as it was something she had eaten before and liked.

She said: “I had made spaghetti, like I had done many times before, with no one disliking it. It’s actually a dinner all my kids will eat!

“We were all sitting down at dinner eating, and I look over at my daughter and she is gagging with every bite she’s taking.”

She added that she decided to film the moment because she couldn’t stop laughing at her daughter’s adorable facial expressions.

She notes that Piper didn’t complain once about her food – despite her obvious displeasure with it.

Bravo Piper!
