You can now stream and download the epic Night King theme from the latest episode of Game Of Thrones.

The piece, composed by Ramin Djawadi, featured in episode three of season eight and soundtracked a pivotal moment in the story.

The eight-minute-long piano-led composition has since received a lot of attention, has been streamed over 2.5 million times on YouTube alone since being uploaded on Sunday (April 28). Last week, a new album of music inspired by Game Of Thrones was released. The compilation featured artists including The National, Ellie Goulding, Rosalía, Mumford & Sons, Travis Scott, and Muse’s Matt Bellamy. The latter’s contribution marked his first solo release.

Meanwhile, Foals’ Jack Bevan and Jimmy Smith revealed they appeared as extras in the latest episode of the long-running show.

Both musicians posted photos of themselves in wigs and costumes on their Instagram pages following the airing of the episode in the UK. Bevan explained that the band’s manager “managed to get a lovely crew of us all into the Battle of Winterfell.”

He added: “Sadly, I don’t think we survived the night. It really was one of the coolest experiences I’ve had. Cheers to the best show of all time!”

Game Of Thrones will come to an end this month as its eighth season wraps up. Work has begun on a prequel series, which will be set 5,000 years before the original series’ events.
