Fans of The Sunday Project were left cringing after watching a bizarre exchange between co-hosts Lisa Wilkinson and Hamish Macdonald this weekend.
The panel were discussing a news story about a mother who had written a list of rules for her son’s sleep-over party, including a complete ban on shouting and tickling.
After the bulletin played, Hamish cheekily remarked: ‘That’s like going to your place, Lisa!’
Lisa joked back: ‘Well I’m only sorry I didn’t come up with this idea.’
The throwaway exchange seemed to confuse co-host Tommy Little, who asked Hamish about his comment.
‘Hang on hang on, when you said it’s like going to Lisa’s place, has Lisa had to ban you from tickling?’ Tommy asked.

‘Has she had to make you sign a contract so you wouldn’t tickle her? Is that what your implying?’ he added.
Lisa interjected slyly: ‘I would never do that because his a good tickler.’
A stunned Tommy continued to joke about the awkward moment, adding that the comments shouldn’t be made public.

The incident came just a week after Tommy Little left his co-hosts in hysterics with a very rude joke about a Rabbitohs fan eating a rotisserie chicken to taunt rival team, Sydney Roosters.
‘I believe that video was titled a d**k and a c**k!’ said Tommy, before the panel erupted in laughter.
