Lisa Snowdon reveals she has no plans to have children with her fiance George Smart, as the couple are quite content on being a family of two.
The couple, who got engaged in 2017 five weeks after Lisa appeared on I’m A Celeb, are unlikely to start a family any time soon.
The 47-year-old told The Sun on Sunday’s Fabulous magazine: ‘I value our relationship so much that I don’t want anything to change and I don’t want to put that added pressure on him or me, because it would.’
The former radio host said: ‘I could do it a different way, but I don’t want to. I’m very much a believer in fate and I think that George and I are very lucky to have each other.’
The pair met 18 years prior while working at MTV and came back into each other’s lives four years ago when they were reintroduced by mutual friends.
Lisa continued: ‘It was like the stars aligned. It’s come at the best time.
‘There are no games, no drama, no second guessing. We’re very open with each other.
‘We’re just really happy with our lot, which is so hard for people to understand. It’s so hard because everyone’s always like: “You can adopt”. I’m like: “Really? I had no idea.”‘
Despite the couple being very much in love, there have been no wedding arrangements, with the pair taking their time before tying the knot.
‘I just know that we’re going to be together. I don’t feel like I need to do a whole big hoopla. I don’t want to change who I am. I think that’s what frightens me a bit,’ Lisa explains.
‘Apparently, when you get married you get in these definitive roles of husband and wife. I just want it to be the same. We’re both really considerate of each other, very loving and thoughtful. I’ll just continue to adore him and love him and cook amazing food for him.’
While the pair may not plan to have kids in the future, the stars may align once more for the loved up duo.
