This prompted Amelia to confront the Beauvais’ remarks in the comment section of on her mom’s video, where she wrote that ‘body-shaming is real’ and ‘not okay.’

‘My question is why would your dancing videos make me ‘feel bad’???? Who was she trying to body shame?? Am I fat? Why would that make me sad?????,’ she asked the actress.

Adding: ‘You can call my mom too skinny or me too skinny but if we called you too big???? Hunny it’s the same thing.’

On the August 5 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Garcelle sparked controversy for saying she loved Lisa’s dancing, but that ‘dancing nearly naked’ would ‘not a choice for me if I had a daughter that had body issues.’

Amelia’s battle with anorexia became a topic of conversation again, on Wednesday’s episode, when Garcelle pushed about her decision to dance ‘on Instagram in a bathing suit or underwear.’

Lisa, then, fired back, ‘I actually don’t think that is what caused Amelia’s anorexia’ before asking, ‘Why would you even ask me that question?’

Talking about her struggles with Glamour, she said: ‘If I’m being honest, if I hadn’t come out about my eating disorder when I did, I probably would have relapsed.’

She went on to explain that sharing her struggle ‘helped keep me accountable.’

‘I have eyes on me 24/7,’ she went on to say about her support system, which includes her mother and father.

‘After sharing my story, they weren’t just anonymous eyes but eyes that knew this intimate detail about my life, that were watching me and my body every single day.’

‘When you’re in recovery from an eating disorder, it’s so difficult to continue pushing through even when you have bad days where you just want to go back your old habits,’ she explained.

Her mom also explained how people can help friends, family and love ones suffering with eating disorders, while talking to her fellow housewives during last season’s reunion.

‘Amelia’s gone through a lot in her anorexia. She’s quite healthy right now, right in this moment. And recently, people have said, “Well, you don’t look anorexic, you’re not that thin,” which is a really big trigger. It’s f***ing difficult.’

Rinna and her husband Harry Hamlin also share their 22-year-old daughter, Delilah, who has more than 1.3 million Instagram followers.
