Lisa Appleton bares bum as she heads to Aintree for Ladies Day wearing LETTUCE

Lisa Appleton and the Aintree horses have one thing in common – they know how to set punters’ pulses racing.

The ex-Big Brother star, who turns 51 next month, was spotted baring her bum in a lime green nightie as she made her way in to the enclosure for Ladies Day .

Not one to follow the strict dress code in place at the horsey event, Lisa flashed plenty of flesh in just a thong, the flimsy dress and a pair of thigh high black boots.

Lisa clearly didn’t feel like her skimpy slip would quite attract enough attention though and chose to bizarrely top off her look with a headpiece made out of LETTUCE.

That really is a fascinator made out of lettuce on Lisa’s head

Lisa flaunted the strict dress code to flash her bum

No, you haven’t read that wrong, crafty in the kitchen as well as with her wardrobe, Lisa added the unusual fascinator on top of her bedraggled brunette locks.

Looking like the actual hedge you would normally be dragged through, Lisa pranced around for onlookers lifting up her dress to show off her behind.

At one point the reality star got a bit too giddy and began losing her lettuce – quite literally.

She scampered about trying to rescue the salad delicacy before blowing a kiss for her fans.

Quite the balancing skills

Aintree Ladies Day is one of the most hotly anticipated northern fashion events of the year where thousands flock to show off their best frocks.

Statement headpiece, check, killer heels, check, colour block dress, check, nudity? Not so much.

We’re certain that Lisa’s cheeky display was sure to make her a firm favourite on the worst dressed list.

That’s if she even made it past security.
