Barcelona’s team bus left Anfield without Messi on board, as the doping test took too long, and the Argentina international was then the victim of verbal abuse at John Lennon Airport.
A group of Barcelona fans hurled insults at Messi, prompting 31-year-old to ask the supporters what he had done to anger them.
