Line of Duty's Martin Compston had tiff with wife at National Television Awards

This week, Martin Compston was spotted using his impressive negotiating skills after a tiff with wife Tianna at the National TV Awards after-party.

Mirror reporter Halina Watts says she witnessed Compston sort the row with all the know-how of his character in Line of Duty, DI Steve Arnott.

The dispute came after Martin, 37, accepted two gongs for the hit BBC series – Best Returning Drama and Special Recognition.

Watts said: “Later, at London’s O2, he went to have a picture with presenter Alex Scott and pals, and Tianna stormed over to tick him off for leaving her alone at the bar.

“I saw the pair having a heated discussion after the bustup.

“But Martin’s co-star Craig Parkinson was on-hand to help diffuse the situation.

“The couple then kissed and made up before hugging security guards and skipping out of the venue.”

Earlier, Martin joined his fellow cast members to pick up the show’s awards.

Tianna was with him on stage, where she looked emotional as he accepted the award with his co-stars.

Martin and Tianna, who did not respond to my request for a comment, wed in 2016 and have one child together.

They’ll be returning to their home in Las Vegas, which has its own pool – the perfect place for them to cool off even further.
