Lindsay Lohan’s returned to music 11 years after her last single… and her new song Xanax is actually pretty good.

The actor, 33, has revealed her new song, and fans can’t get over how good the track, which hasn’t been released yet, actually is.

Lindsay shared a snippet of her new song on Instagram as well as with Virgin Radio in Dubai, her first single release since 2008’s Bossy.

With lyrics including: ‘I got social anxiety, but you’re like Xanax to me. When you kiss me, I can’t breathe’, it’s quite different from what we’ve heard from LiLo before.

At present, little is known about the track apart from that it’s going to be released ‘very, very soon’ – and it’s definitely going to be on a lot of playlists once it drops.

As well as getting in the studio, Lindsay has also been filming as a judge for Australia’s The Masked Singer, where celebrities have to perform while dressed head to toe in costumes to mask their identity.

Lindsay will be joined by Dannii Minogue, comedian Dave Hughes and radio presenter Jackie O to complete the panel.

It will be the first series of the show in Australia but it has already proved to be a hit in the USA, with stars including T-Pain (who went on to win the series), La Toya Jackson, Gladys Knight and Rumer Willis taking part.

It comes after her MTV show Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club was axed after just one series after it didn’t attract enough viewers to warrant a second season being commissioned.

The show followed LiLo opening a beach club on the Greek island of Mykonos, and the second series was due to follow her family life.

A source told Page Six in June: ‘It would be turned into a show about Lindsay and [her mother] Dina and [sister] Ali, [but] that wasn’t going to happen.

‘[There wasn’t] enough drama. They wanted “breakdowns”. That’s not where [Lohan] is at with her life anymore. Their personal business doesn’t need to be aired on television; it’s already in the papers anyway.’
