Linda Gray, 80, has revealed on Instagram that her son Jeff Thrasher has died at the age of 56. The Dallas actress paid tribute to Jeff in view of her 31,000 followers last night.
She wrote: “A celebration of my son Jeff’s life.
“He was the kindest, funniest, sweetest human being….. he brought the world such love and was loved by everyone!
“May his journey be a magical one.”
Linda shared an image of the back of Jeff riding his bicycle on an autumnal day alongside her words.
Jeff worked as a TV director and producer, with his most recent project being Junior Chef Showdown.
In the show, the “best and brightest young cooks go head-to-head in challenges that test their skills and ingenuity in the kitchen, but only one pint-sized chef will be named the country’s best”.
The star also produced The Amazing Race Canada and Canada’s Smartest Person.
He went on to direct Furze World Wonders and in 2015, he worked on Vegas Rat Rods.
