Limmy shares teenage throwback pic and fans can't get over the 'glow up'

Scottish comedian Limmy has shared a throwback photo from his teenage days and fans are shocked by his “glow up”.

The Glasgow funnyman, real name Brian Limond, posted the old snap from his youth aged 18 looking completely different with shoulder-length brown hair.

Posting on Twitter, the 45-year-old compared the picture alongside a more recent one and wrote: “18 vs now”.

Thousands of fans reacted to the photo and couldn’t believe they were the same person.

Some praised the comic for “ageing like a fine wine”, while others couldn’t help but poke fun at Limmy, with one commenting: “If Jesus grew up in Glasgow”.

One person wrote: “You haven’t aged a day!” as another agreed and commented: “You look better now.”

One Twitter fan joked: “Before you had waines vs when she turns them against ye.”

Another said: “My god he’s ageing in reverse” while another simply wrote: “Glow up.”

The Glaswegian, most well known for his BBC sketch show ‘Limmys Show’  is also very well known for his online twitter wind-ups and live streams.

It comes after Limmy revealed he is quitting TV for good to focus on streaming.

The comedian told fans that he will focus exclusively on streaming via his Twitch channel.

Limmy told his 225,000 Twitch followers earlier this month: “Honestly, I’ve just said to myself, I’m not doing any more telly stuff,” according to Glasgow Live.

The comic said that he plans to give up his broadcast, publishing, with his forthcoming BBC Scotland show being his last.

Back in March, Limmy made a welcome return to our screens with Limmy’s Homemade Show! on BBC Scotland, which followed on from a successful pilot which aired back in April of 2018.
