Lily Allen was among the 70,000 people expected to visit Cheltenham Festival for a punt on the races, and judging by her reaction, she had a pretty decent win.

The singer, 34, was seen celebrating and poking her tongue out as checked her bets on the fourth day of the horseracing event.

It looks like she picked a winner as she couldn’t keep the smile off her face, as she waved her betting slip in the air.

Lily was spotted with a diamond ring on her wedding finger, something she has been wearing in recent weeks, sparking speculation she may be engaged to her Stranger Things beau, David Harbour

Despite the threat of coronavirus, a reported 70,000 people were expected to attend the festival, after Boris Johnson delayed banning mass gatherings.

Several countries around the world have taken the preventative measure to stop large gatherings of people in an attempt to curb the spread of the virus.

Lily had changed her Instagram bio to ‘self isolating since 2011’ in reference to the outbreak, but she braved the crowds to have a punt on her chosen horses.

Over 60,000 people had attended the day before, with the MailOnline reporting it was just 7,000 less than usual.

Race course boss Ian Renton told 5 Live Sport: ‘We have heard from the government that racing does continue in this country and that the festival will continue to its ultimatum.

‘We have put the measures in place – as we said we would here – and we’ve been pleased to see the crowds enjoying some fantastic racing.’

Boris Johnson had said in a press conference on Thursday that the UK would not be moving to ban large gatherings at resent, but it would be very likely in the near future due to the spread of coronavirus.
