Lily Allen and David Harbour appear to have confirmed their blossoming romance by cuddling together at the Hughie Fury vs Alexander Povetkin boxing match.

The pair watched the fight ringside at London’s O2 Arena, while viewers at home saw them appear to go public with their relationship as David, wearing a smart suit and tie placed an arm around Lily’s shoulders.

The 34-year-old was wearing a glitzy gown with an illusion neckline and a diamond necklace.

In early August the Smile songstress was pictured leaving the theatre with Stranger Things actor David.

Lily seemed in high spirits as she was spotted in London’s West End with David, 44, after they watched The Lehman Trilogy at Piccadilly Theatre; the pair were then pictured grabbing dinner together in Soho.

It’s unclear how Lily and David struck up a friendship, but the pair do follow each other on Instagram.

Lily, who has two daughters from her marriage to Sam Cooper, is currently single after splitting from boyfriend of three years Meridian Dan.

Speaking in January on Elizabeth Day’s How To Fail podcast, the Sheezus singer said: ‘‘I’ve always had a boyfriend. I don’t at the moment. I’m single for the first time since I was about 15.

‘It’s just been bad news after bad news after bad news and I think that fact that I haven’t called him and been like, “Hey, wanna come around for a cuddle?” means that it’s big for me, because ordinarily, when things get difficult, I do need to have somebody around to share those problems.

‘So the fact that I’m dealing with it all on my own, I’m growing up.’

David was believed to still be in a relationship with Fantastic Beasts actress Alison Sudol, after the pair went public in 2018 but on 9 August, Alison shared a cryptic Instagram post which featured no caption.

Instead, she let the graffiti she had pictured do the talking: ‘You don’t have to give up, you just have to let go, there’s nothing to hold on to anyway.’

Metro.co.uk has contacted reps for David and Lily for comment.
