Lil Wayne has supported Donald Trump ahead of the US election.

The Lollipop hitmaker shared a photo of himself posing with the President, both giving a thumbs up to the camera in front of US flags, on social media.

The 38-year-old wrote: ‘Just had a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump @potus besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership.

‘He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done.’

With just days to go until the election, it’s come down to a battle between Trump and Joe Biden – against Kanye West’s best efforts, after his campaign for President.

Many celebs have come out to endorse Biden, including the likes of Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, and the Avengers gang.

However, Lil Wayne – real name Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr. – isn’t alone in his support for Trump.

Actress Kirstie Alley was forced to defend herself after she pledged her support for Trump, explaining he ‘gets things done quickly’.

In a message shared on Twitter, she told fans: ‘I’m voting for @realDonaldTrump because he’s NOT a politician. I voted for him 4 years ago for this reason and shall vote for him again for this reason.

‘He gets things done quickly and he will turn the economy around quickly. There you have it folks there you have it.’

Meanwhile, rapper Lil Pump also shared a photo of himself meeting Trump.

Uploading a photo of himself shaking hands with the President on Instagram earlier this week, the rapper simply captioned it: ‘THE DAY I MET TRUMP #trump202022020.’

Kid Rock is also among the stars to declare himself part of Team Trump, with the singer sharing a snap of the pair of them golfing.
