Lidl is launching two new flavoured festive crisps

The bargain supermarket’s hand-cooked Deluxe crisps cost just 75p for a 150g bag.

For those worried about their waistline, be careful not to over-indulge as an entire bag of pigs in blankets contains 41.4g of fat.

We worked out that 25g of pigs in blanket has 6.9g of fat.

One 25g serving of these smoky flavoured crisps is 127 calories.

In 2017, shoppers went mad for Lidl’s pigs in blankets crisps, mostly because they taste like the real thing.

One fan said on Twitter: “Today I bought Lidl’s pigs in blankets crisps, and they actually taste like pigs in blankets.”

“The crisps sound delicious,” said another fan.

And, they are even suitable for vegetarians.

One person commented: “Lidl had pigs in blankets flavour crisps and they’re veggie. I am buzzin.”

Lidl’s pigs in blankets crisps are cheaper than Walkers’ version, with a 75g sharing bag of Walkers festive crisps costing £1 compared to Lidl’s 75p for a 150g bag.

We also shopped around and found that Lidl’s own branded pigs in blankets crisps cost less than Tesco’s version, with a 150g pack of Tesco’s limited edition crisps costing £1 compared to just 75p for Lidl’s own brand.

You can shop Lidl’s festive range in store now and find more information about their flavoured Christmas selection of crisps online.
