Liam Payne and Maya Henry offered up some colour co-ordinating couple goals as they arrived on the red carpet at the Fashion Awards 2019.

Liam, 26, opted for a sleek navy blue suit while his girlfriend Maya, 19, wore an elegant blue dress complete with ruffled shoulders as the couple posed for pictures together at the event.

The couple have been officially dating for a few months now after they got together after Liam’s split from ex Cheryl last year – with whom he shares 2-year-old son Bear.

Liam and Maya had been linked with each other for a while, being pictured together back in August 2018, but they only confirmed their relationship back in August.

And they haven’t been shy in showing their affection for each other in public ever since.

Alongside a recent Instagram snap of the pair cuddling on the sofa, Liam wrote: ‘Sometimes I don’t recognise this happy guy… sure glad you brought him back though.’

After thanking his team for their help, he added: ‘Then last but not least this one @maya_henry for always keeping the biggest smile on my face through all the stress and making me realise how perfect my life really is.’

Their appearance comes after the former One Direction star hit back at rumours that Maya had lied about her age, with many claiming she was actually a year younger than she actually is.

Some internet investigators dug up old Instagram pictures and an article written about her lavish quinceanera (15th birthday) celebrations back in 2016 – with a fan suggesting she is actually 18-years-old.

‘This is intentional because when fabricating this ridiculous PR campaign for her they said that they’ve been together for a year, which would mean that Liam was dating a 17 y/o. She’s a senior in [High School].’

Hitting back, the dad-of-one swiftly gave his explanation for it all, replying: ‘19, don’t believe everything you read on the internet.’

He’s got a point.
