Liam Gallagher played a triumphant slot at Glastonbury this year – and it looks like he may be following it up with a turn at Reading and Leeds next year.

The Oasis icon dropped a huge hint on Twitter earlier today, writing: ‘Reading and Leeds c’mon you know LG x.’

Well, at least we know he’s down for it!

Liam is currently touring his new album Why Me? Why Not.

Released in September of this year, it became his second number one album after his debut As You Were in 2017.

He’s on a roll (with it).

Speaking to GQ last month, Liam – who this year supported The Who on tour – opened up on his road to solo stardom, after he was asked: ‘After Noel [Gallagher, Liam’s brother] walked out and Oasis split, how close were you to hitting rock bottom?’

‘It was never rock bottom,’ explained Liam. ‘I was never skint. Obviously I had a divorce. I knew I’d wriggle my way out of it.

‘I didn’t wanna join another band because I’d just come out of [Beady Eye] and it didn’t work. I knew I had to do this solo thing, and I was not wanting to do it.

‘Now I’m happy doing it. I like working with people. It’s all I’ve ever wanted: to be part of the process. I never wanted to be the main man.’

Oasis are known for hits like D’You Know What I Mean and Don’t Look Back In Anger

They have sold an estimated 98 million records worldwide.
