“Honestly I never look at records,” he said. “I don’t really know why.
“I just remember growing up in Stevenage and watching Michael Schumacher so it’s still surreal to this day to have my name brought up in the sentence as his. It’s very special for my family I think.
“Each year is a chance to rise to the challenge. I’m inspired by so many people in the UK that are doing great things.
“If there’s one young kid that gets to see what I do, or adult, and it helps them get over the line that would make me very happy.”
