Lewis Capaldi propped up by pal in street after partying hard in London


Lewis Capaldi was spotted partying hard after winning a top music gong.

He scooped Best Track for his number one song Someone You Loved at the Q Awards at London’s Roundhouse on Wednesday night.

The Scots singer was then pictured leaving an after-party looking merry with his friend appearing to prop him up.

Lewis had been partying with a friend at Joe’s Bar in Camden after winning his award at the nearby Roundhouse. His mate lost his footing and was pictured lying on the ground surrounded by security at around 2am. An onlooker said he was giggling as they helped him back to his feet.

A source said: “It was all good natured. They were just having a good time after winning a top award.”

At the time of writing, Lewis’s final Instagram story showed his winning his award at the event. Lewis, Stormzy, Lana Del Rey and The 1975 are among the big winners of this year’s Q Awards.

The Foals walked away with Best Album, Stormzy picked up Best Solo Act and Pale Waves won Best Breakthrough Act. Superstar Lewis was the fastest unsigned artist to reach 25 million plays on Spotify, and the first to sell out an arena tour before releasing an album.
