Like most theme parks, Legoland shuts down during the winter months.

But while the park doesn’t officially reopen until March 13 next year, you can visit the Windsor resort between February 15 to 23 for what it’s calling “Brick Week”.

Brick Week, falling over half term, is essentially a week where a selection of the rides at the park will be open to the public.

Legoland said that there will be 20 different rides and attractions open, as well as a host of special activities.

Some of the most popular ones, including LEGOLAND Express Train, Haunted House Monster Party, and LEGO Ninjago The Ride will be open.

The rides that are open during Brick Week

  • LEGOLAND Express Train
  • Haunted House Monster Party
  • Driving School
  • Learner Drivers
  • Balloon School
  • Fire Academy
  • Mia’s Riding Adventure
  • Laser Raiders
  • Scarab Bouncers
  • Thunder Blazer
  • Desert Chase
  • Aero Nomad
  • Hill Train
  • LEGO® Ninjago® The Ride
  • 4D Cinema
  • Destiny’s Bounty
  • Jolly Rocker
  • Dragon’s Apprentice
  • Dragon Coaster
  • Spinning Spider

There will also be a LEGO make and take, free build activity, mosaic and brick build challenge plus character meet and greets.

However, DUPLO Valley, Atlantis Submarine Voyage and all other water rides will be closed.

It could still be worth it if you’re looking for a cheap day out though, as tickets to the park are just £20 per person, which is a huge saving as entry is normally £58 per person.

You have to book online to get the cheapest deal – entry is £25 per person if you go and get tickets on the day.

Annual pass holders can also go but will have to pay £5 per person for the tickets.

Theme park fans can also check out the best deals on tickets during Black Friday.

For theme parks in the US, you can also get adult tickets at kids prices.

It’s worth knowing that some UK theme parks have a rainy day guarantee so you can go back on another day if your visit is spoilt by the weather.
