Learn2Esport Partners With Twitch for Streaming Curriculum

Swedish education tech company Learn2Esport announced a partnership with Amazon-owned streaming platform Twitch that will see the companies work together to create a curriculum that focuses on the business of content creation and streaming from an “esports perspective.”

This curriculum, aimed at high school and college students hopes to introduce the streaming ecosystem from an esports perspective, detailing available career opportunities, technology used, creating content, learning broadcasting skills, owning a personal brand, marketing, and audience engagement, among other aspects, according to Learn2Esport.

The curriculum is being developed through Twitch’s Student and Education Programs.

Launched in 2016, Learn2Esport focuses on students in Sweden and other countries in Europe. The company will launch its educational program in North America in January, with plans for a similar effort in Southeast Asia in the future.
