League of Legends Esports Manager receives game approval in China

Riot Games’ League of Legends Esports Manager mobile game has received game approval from China’s National Press and Publication Administration (NPPA), alongside 43 other games. The Chinese version of the game will feature all League of Legends Pro League (LPL) teams, players, and staff, and the player will represent the “team manager” to build his/her team.

Tencent Holdings, the owner of Riot Games, is still both publishing and operating representative of the game, according to NPPA. This is the second Riot Games mobile title that has received game approval in China this year. In February, League of Legends: Wild Rift received approval.

It should be noted that Valorant has still not recieved game approval. The game logo was featured only once at the Tencent Esports Global Summit when TJ Sports Co-CEO Bobby Jin did his presentation.
