League of Legends Championship Series Adds Caffeine as Streaming Platform

The announcement post calls Caffeine “an official co-streaming partner,” due to the service’s focus on allowing users to stream and host broadcasts via their own channels. Riot’s post suggests that it’s ideal for aspiring casters, who can practice their craft by calling matches live atop the official stream.

The non-exclusive agreement extends through the rest of the 2019 LCS season, from the regular season through the playoffs, finals, and regional qualifiers. The LCS will continue to stream via Twitch Database-Link-e1521645463907, YouTube, and ESPN+ as well.

Additionally, the platform has entered exclusive content partnerships with such teams as Dignitas Database-Link-e1521645463907 and Natus Vincere Database-Link-e1521645463907. In September 2018, Caffeine received a $100M USD investment from 21st Century Fox Database-Link-e1521645463907.
