Laura Whitmore got to meet one of her favourite people in a rather unusual setting.

Laura, 34, attended the Serpentine Summer Party this week (looking like a goddess, we might add) and had a chance run-in with Lena Dunham in the toilets of places.

The TV presenter revealed she shared a joke with the Girls star while in the queue to get into a cubicle inside a Portaloo.

‘I had a girl crush moment in the Portaloo with one of my favourite people ever who I’ve never met,’ she told Metro.co.uk.

‘I didn’t realise it was her and the girl in front of me was coming out of the loo and I had to move to let her wash her hands in the sink. People think that these things are really fancy, everyone is in their ballgowns and dresses queuing for a Portaloo!

‘So I went to move so the girl could use the sink, and she didn’t use the sink. She walked straight out from the cubicle and out the door. I thought, “What? Not even gonna wash your hands?”

‘So I looked at the person behind me and said that, and I turned around and it was Lena Dunham. I was like, “Oh gosh she thinks I’m crazy”. I didn’t realise it was her until I was sitting on the loo afterwards.

Laura has been thoroughly enjoying herself at PRO 2GO’s World Chase Tag event, which took place at the iconic York Hall in London.

For those not in the know, World Chase Tag is a thrilling mix of parkour and the playground game of tag.

While the host admitted she wasn’t as great at it as the professionals she played with, she had the best time getting active with others which she feels is a positive way to improve your mental health.

She told us: ‘At school I was very active. I played hockey in school and badminton. Rather than going to the gym and being in a gym by yourself I think it’s good to be involved in something that has a few people but is also fun.

‘When I moved to London years ago I joined a non-contact rugby team. I did that, not so much for the sport but for how it made me feel.

‘We know now there’s so much to do with mental health that is associated with being physically active as well.

‘And the camaradie of hanging out with other people who are as like-minded. To do that and then go to the pub afterwards!’

Sounds great to us too, Laura.
