Laura Anderson unveils new Glasgow flat after she 'splits with boyfriend'

Love Island’s Laura Anderson has given fans a glimpse of her new Glasgow flat after moving back to Scotland.

The reality star recently split up with boyfriend Tom Brazier as she made the move up north.

Laura, from Stirling, has settled into new life in her stunning flat in the sought-after area of Park Circus in Glasgow.

It’s believed Tom was meant to join the former air hostess in Scotland six months after she left London.

But the pair appeared to be struggling with the idea of a long-distance relationship as she announced it was over last week.

She took to Instagram to unveil her incredible new flat and told her followers 1.5million followers she was “almost getting there” with decorating.

Giving a mini flat tour, the reality star showed off her impeccable taste in interiors with stylish cow print chairs and a grey and gold geometric rug.

Laura also gave fans a glimpse of her chic new hexagon-shaped table with a glossy marble top and gold legs.

The reality star told fans she was still to purchase a new coffee table and wanted to switch up the colour of the sofa, which her adorable Pomeranian dog Buddy was spotted snoozing on.

Laura has been enjoying her move to Glasgow, and has posed for Instagram photos while walking her dog in Kelvingrove Park and hitting the gym with friends.

Laura announced her break-up last week as she wrote on her Instagram story: “Thank you for all the DMs asking about Tom and I since I moved up north.

“Unfortunately it hasn’t worked out between us. In respect of Tom’s privacy I won’t be discussing this further. All my love to him and you all for continued support.”

It appears the couple weren’t quite ready to be separated over 400 miles apart after they met during the lockdown and spent most of their time living at Laura’s London home.

They got together back in May, and were going from strength-to-strength before encountering a hiccup which caused their break-up.

Laura and Tom first met during a dog walk in January, and fell in love instantly.

When she first moved to Glasgoow, she revealed she had hoped he’d follow her up there.

She wrote on social media: “I’m still going to move to Scotland and Tom is looking to follow me up in the next six months. He’s the cherry on top of the cake.”

Laura revealed in April she would move back home permanently after the lockdown was over due to feeling lonely in London.

She told Vas J Morgan on his I Am Enough podcast: “I have decided to move to Scotland because I want to buy a flat.

“I just moved here after Love Island and obviously its been almost two years now.

“I just think I want to go back and live with my family and friends that I have had for years, get a bit of support with the dog if I need to go and do something and try and buy a place.”

Laura concluded: “I am enjoying being here because I know it is not going to be that long.”
