Latitude Festival is one of the top festivals of the year, with some pretty great acts performing. The festival hosts music from all genres, as well as comedy, literature and other events. On Latitude’s 15th year, the calibre is even higher as they announce their headliners and ticket sale dates.
When do Latitude Festival tickets go on sale?
Weekend tickets for Latitude go on sale on December 6 at 9am via the official Latitude Festival website and from Ticketmaster.
There is a real mix of ticket prices to suit all budgets and backgrounds, including family and children’s options.
Adult weekend tickets are £210 with a £16.80 booking fee per ticket, while accompanied teen weekend tickets for those aged 13-15 years are £145 with a £11.60 booking fee per ticket, and child tickets are just £15 for the weekend.
There are, however, also ticket options available for disable access requirements and other needs, so those who require that should email access@latitudefestival.co.uk for more information.
Who is headlining Latitude Festival?
This year the headliners for Latitude Festival are better than ever, with HAIM, Liam Gallagher and The Chemical Brothers taking over the main stage.
As well as those groups who will take to the main stage, there will also be huge acts performing on the BBC Sounds stage as well as supporting the headline acts.
These include Michael Kiwanuka, who released a new album earlier this year, as well as The Lumineers and Keane, who are reuniting after a hiatus since 2013.
As well as these musical acts, smaller performers and acts will be taking to various stages throughout the festival.
These include James Vincent McMorrow, Kawala, Phoebe Bridgers, The Futureheads, Marika Hackman and Ibibio Sound Machine.
Latitude Festival will also host a Comedy Arena, with the first headliner being the legendary Bill Bailey, who will perform both musical numbers as well as stand-up comedy.
Along with him is Dr John Cooper Clarke, who is currently writing his forthcoming autobiography, I Wanna Be Yours, who will be interviewed by Jonny Green.

Charlie Mackesy will also speak after winning The Waterstones Book of the Year for his book, The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse.
The Women’s Prize for Fiction will also return to Latitude, including a panel including bestselling novelist Kate Mosse, and there will be other interviews, podcast recordings and events to be announced soon.
To get in the mood for the festival, Latitude has also set up a Spotify playlist and YouTube channel so fans can get in the mood for the event.
Latitude Festival takes place from July 16 to 19, 2020, and tickets go on sale on December 6 at 9am
