Last minute half term adventures, football with legends and bargain flights to Singapore

Here’s some travel inspo (Picture: Metro.co.uk)

October half term is here, but are you worried you’re going to run out of activites?

Why not make a last minute trip to Carmarthenshire, Scotland for a mountain-biking adventure.

Or learn from football legend Robbie Keane at a beachside resort in Dubai.

Looking for a holiday that’s a bit more refined?

Singapore Airlines are offering very reasonable direct flights to South-east Asia from November 19 (and celebrating with a bottle of gin).

Thrills and spills

MTB Trail Thrillogy is a two-day self-guided trip which brings together the lesser known trails at Crychan Forest on the edge of the Brecon Beacons and Cwm Rhaeadr in the Cambrian Mountains, with the adrenalin fuelled Brechfa. Prepare for downhill fast runs, cross-country trails, wide, loamy forest roads and the odd the gnarly black-graded singletrack. Join Robbie Keane for a kickaround in Dubai

Running from October 25 to 29, the camp will offer children aged five to 15 two hours of fun and learning daily, no matter their skill level. It’s a perfect opportunity for footie-mad kids to learn new techniques.
