HOLIDAYS can go ahead if you are in tier 2 or tier 1 this Christmas, with staycations starting again from December 3.
Any region in either tier can stay at a hotel or holiday park this festive season, although tier 2 can only go away with their household.
This means getting a last-minute break is now possible with B&Bs and cottages able to welcome guests back.
It isn’t good news for residents in tier 3, who are advised not to travel out of the area, nor are hotels open.
