Lamar Odom was having unprotected sex with up to six women a week at the height of his sex addiction.
And his recklessness led to ‘plenty of abortions’ the NBA player says, which he paid for himself.
It’s just one of the bombshells to come out of a new no holds barred book, Darkness to Light: A Memoir, from Khloe Kardashian’s ex-husband.
He writes: ‘I would f*** five or six girls a week, but my demons tormented me on the one night I went home alone.
‘I needed women as an outlet … an escape but this does not come without problems … most of my sex has been unprotected, and I’ve paid for plenty of abortions over the years.’
Odom said that he was trying to fill a ‘void’ left by the death of his mother Cathy Mercer when he was 12.
‘I used sex to fill the void … to make me feel complete. I wanted to be loved, but I could never find love.’
Odom has fathered three children. With ex-partner Liza Morales, he has 21-year-old daughter Destiny, 17-year-old Lamar Odom Jr.
Their third child Jayden, born in December 2005, died only six months later.
It’s a harrowing experience that Odom previously blamed for his descent into cocaine addiction.
He was famously found unconscious at a brothel in Nevada in October 2015 after several heart attacks and a stroke, following cocaine and Viagra consumption.
The basketball player abused cocaine and cheated on his wife Khloe throughout their four-year marriage, eventually admitting to sleeping with over 2,000 women.
Their struggle to have their first child was also well-documented on reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Khloe underwent IVF to get pregnant in an attempt to fix her rocky marriage to Lamar but later stopped because she felt the circumstances their marriage ‘weren’t the healthiest’ to raise a child in.
After years of waiting for her own family, the 34-year-old announced that she was expecting her first child with then-boyfriend Tristan Thompson in December 2017.
Khloe welcomed daughter True in April 2018 and credits her little girl for making her complete.
