Lady Gaga’s probably nursing a few bruises today after a video emerged of her falling off stage while dancing with a fan.

Last night marked the return of Lady Gaga’s Enigma residency in Las Vegas, which she last performed in June, but the opening night didn’t go completely smoothly.

In fan-shot footage, Gaga can be seen dancing with a fan she invited on stage, wrapping her legs around his waist, but he then accidentally lost his footing at the edge of the stage and the pair both came crashing down into the pit.

As well as pretty much dropping the singer, 33, off the side of the stage, the fan also fell on top of her – so we can imagine Mother Monster was feeling pretty battered and bruised after that fall.

The footage, posted by a fan account told Gaga’s followers: ‘Lady Gaga fell off stage tonight during Enigma. Thankfully, she is ok and continuing with the show #ENIGMA’.

The video was also captioned: ‘Holy s**t I can’t believe I got that on camera wait for her to fall holy s**t’.

Gaga hasn’t addressed the incident on her social media accounts, but shared videos of her preparing for her performance with what appeared to be a reformer Pilates machine backstage.

The Enigma residency has been at the Park MGM in Las Vegas since December 2018, with breaks from February to May 2019 and from the end of June until this week.

The show is due to wrap up in May 2020, and the two-year contract is said to be netting Gaga – real name Stefani Germanotta – in the region of $100 million (£78 million).

Here’s hoping the nobody else drops Gaga off the stage – she can’t afford any injuries with a schedule this busy.
