Kym Marsh hits back at The Chase quizzer Shaun Wallace after he tells her to 'get lost'

Kym Marsh, 43, engaged in some cheeky banter with Shaun Wallace during her appearance on The Chase, which aired tonight. The Coronation Street actress refused to let The Dark Destroyer intimidate her as she prepared to take him on in the quiz alongside her co-stars Jack P. Shepherd, Shelley King and Daniel Brocklebank.

Shaun, who faced Kym on the ITV show before, teased her by saying: “Last time you got lucky, this time you can get lost.”

After pulling a disapproving glance at the quizzer, the small-screen star quickly issued a witty retort.

She mischievously hit back at Shaun: “Ooh, stop flirting with me!”

Shaun swiftly moved on to reveal his offers, with a high offer of £75,000 causing a bit of a shock for Kym.

Elsewhere, Kym recently put an end to speculation that she had signed up to ITV’s The Masked Singer.

Fans of the show have been guessing the singing celebrities’ identities behind the masks on social media, with many pointing the finger at Kym.

However, in view of her 785,000 followers, Kym dismissed the rumours and wrote: “Ok, I’m so bored of answering the constant stream of tweets regarding the masked singer!

“So here is my last tweet on it… I am NOT ANY of the contestants on this show!

“I will be very glad when it’s over so people can stop asking me about it!!! And no it’s not a double bluff!”

Kym later hit back at a Twitter user who accused her of being “disrespectful” about the show.

She replied: “I haven’t said ONE word about the show itself, I simply said I was bored of all the constant tweets about it.

“That’s all. Never gave an opinion on the show content did I??? Your interpretation of my tweet is odd frankly.”

The Chase continues tomorrow at 5pm on ITV.
