KYLIE Jenner’s split from Travis Scott seems to have given the rapper some lyrical inspiration.
The 27-year-old Astroworld star appears to reference his failed romance with the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star in his latest track.
“Duck away, she wanna lay up and hibernate (Yeah) / I took a chance, it’s a lot to take,” he raps on Gatti,” a collaboration with rapper Pop Smoke on his latest EP, Jackboys.
He could be referencing reports that their split was fuelled by there different paces of lifestyle – Travis was on the road touring, while Kylie reportedly wanted to settle down and have a sibling for their daughter Stormi.
The young cosmetics billionaire proudly shared the album, despite the apparent shade.
“STORMIS DAD,” she wrote on her Instagram stories, on a link to the album.
The pair split in September, after making their final public appearance as a couple in August.
They have stayed close for the sake of their daughter Stormi, sparking speculation the couple will get back together.
However, at the time of their split their differing lifestyles were blamed for causing a rift.
“Travis was getting antsy not going out more now that Stormi is older and he wanted to live the life he has afforded himself and be out and about more,” an insider told HollywoodLife. Their source added, “Though Kylie is young and wants to go out herself, she is also a wonderful mother and wants to live her life as a family.”
Scott has released the compilation project from his label Cactus Jack Records, along with his rap collective: Sheck Wes, Don Toliver and Chase B.
It comes after the pair spent the festive period together at the reality star’s home.
Kylie was also spotted wearing a T-Shirt for Travis’ band, Astroworld, while the pair also shared Thanksgiving celebrations.
They have been seen at a host of the same events, including partying together at P Diddy’s lavish birthday party and hitting up a casino in Palm Springs together earlier this month.
