Kylie Jenner is collabing with Balmain on a major beauty collection

Kylie Jenner has turned her penchant for contouring and lip gloss into a billion dollar beauty brand.

From her collabs with her sisters to her most recent Under The Sea Collection, Kylie’s makeup collections have taken the beauty industry by storm.

Clearly not content with dominating just beauty, Kylie is making a foray into fashion by teaming up with major house, Balmain.

Taking to Instagram, Kylie shared a snap with Balmain Creative Director, Olivier Rousteing, to reveal the collection will be dropping during Paris Fashion Week and fans are pretty damn excited.

“Paris is always a good idea,” she wrote in the caption. “Surprise.. KYLIE X BALMAIN @kyliecosmetics collection launching this Friday 9.27…”

It’s an obvious move for the beauty entrepreneur, considering that Balmain is a firm favourite of the Kardashian family. Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kendall and Kris are staunch fans of Olivier’s designs and some of the sisters have starred in his campaigns.

Whilst Kylie didn’t treat us to any sneak peeks of the soon-to-launch brand, if Balmain’s designs are anything to go by, we’re predicting a high octane collection of iridescent eyeshadows and glistening highlighters.

After turning her biggest insecurity, her lips, into a billion-dollar company, Kylie Jenner is more than just a business woman. She’s a social-media queen and a cool mum, smashing one beauty record at a time and serves as a major entrepreneurial inspiration for young women.

Speaking to GLAMOUR when she was the cover star of our AW19 magazine, Kylie said: “I was really insecure about my lips.” But the products she was using to create a plumper pout didn’t tick her makeup box. So, using only her own money and platforms for marketing, Kylie poured over the formulas of 15,000 nude, pink and brown lip products – and in November 2015, brought out her first Kylie Lip Kit. “We sold out on my site in, like, three seconds – before I could refresh the page,” she beams proudly, with boardroom prowess. Then, in February 2016, Kylie Cosmetics was born and has promptly gone on to sell out globally.

We predict a(nother) sell-out.
