Kylian Mbappe mother makes Real Madrid transfer contact as Liverpool make stance clear

Kylian Mbappe could make a mega transfer to Real Madrid in the summer, according to reports.

The PSG and France striker has also been on the radar of Liverpool but the Reds are understood to have ended their interest.

Spanish outlet SPORT claim Mbappe’s mother, who represents the 20-year-old, has told Real Madrid he has no intention of re-signing with the French champions.

Mbappe still has three years left on his contract at PSG.

Real Madrid have long been admirers of the starlet but have also been linked with his team-mate Neymar.

Mbappe has once again been in fine form this season, netting nine times and providing four assists in all competitions.

Liverpool boss Klopp has previously suggested the Reds will not move for the France international.

Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino are the current front three for the European champions.

“Buying this calibre of player is difficult,” said Klopp.

“I don’t see any club at the moment who can buy Kylian Mbappe from PSG.

“I don’t see any club, that is how it is. And we are involved in the clubs that cannot do it. It is as easy as that.

“OK, from a sporting point of view, there are not a lot of reasons to not sign him.

“What a player he is. But it is about the money of course. No chance. Absolutely no chance. Sorry for killing that story.”

It could take an astronomical offer for PSG to let Mbappe leave this summer though.

Real Madrid could have to pay €400m (£342m) which is the French champions valuation of one of their prized assets.

Mbappe will be back in action for PSG against Lille in Ligue 1 on Friday evening (7.45pm).
