Kyle Sandilands challenges a hater to visit the KIIS FM radio studios after they send him a letter

‘You know where I am. Show up!’ Kyle Sandilands challenges a listener to visit his radio studios after they send him ‘hate mail’ telling him they want to meet with him ‘face-to-face’

He’s renowned for being controversial, so it’s unlikely Kyle Sandilands has never been met with hate mail in the past.

But after receiving what he referred to as a ‘hate letter’ from a listener on Monday, the 48-year-old Kyle & Jackie O Show host couldn’t resist issuing a challenge.

After the anonymous sender told Kyle they’d like to give him a piece of their mind in person, the outspoken star told them to come down to the KIIS FM radio studios in Sydney.

Reading the letter aloud, Kyle revealed someone had taken offence after he quizzed Sunrise host Samantha Armytage, 42, about her personal life during a recent appearance on the radio show.

‘You are a disgusting piece of crap, asking and prying into Samantha’s private life,’ he read from the letter.

‘In a relatively short space of time, you’ll probably be a nobody. Just a hat-wearing, fat bogan f-wit.’

The sender then revealed they had already seen Kyle in person once, but resisted the urge to say anything to him at the time.

‘What’s more, if I ever run into you on my travels again, as I did 10 years ago at LAX in the lift, I’ll rest assured be telling you what I think face-to-face,’ they finished.

Kyle then challenged the writer of the letter, telling them they know where he works, so the opportunity is wide open for them.

‘Let me know then, dog. You know where I am. Come! Show up!’ he urged them.

During an appearance on Anh’s Brush With Fame in 2016, Kyle acknowledged that he may not be everyone’s cup of tea.

‘[My] general humour on-air or off-air is a bit blue and a bit crude. That’s just what I find funny, so I can understand that some people think I’m an a**ehole,’ he said.
