Now Kyle Richards is opening up about dealing with COVID-19 as she and her daughter Sophia, who also tested positive, isolate apart from their family.
The 51-year-old Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star shared a family Christmas photo on Saturday, which she said was taken shortly before she contracted the virus.

Kyle was dressed in red satin pajamas and seated on a sofa with her husband Mauricio Umansky and their three children, Alexia, 24, Sophia, 20, and Portia, 12, along with Kyle’s eldest daughter Farrah Aldjufrie, 32, whom she shares with her first husband, Guraish Aldjufrie.
‘I love these people so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,’ she began her caption.
‘Some of you may have heard I have COVID. I got it after these photos were taken.
‘Since I was diagnosed I have been separated from my family in order to keep them healthy. Unfortunately, Sophia also got it. We will stay in isolation until it’s safe to see the family and others again. I can’t wait to hug them,’ she concluded.

Kyle’s Christmas card photos were taken prior to Thanksgiving, as she shared outtakes from the photoshoot to social media earlier on November 21.
‘It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas and we haven’t even had thanksgiving yet,’ she wrote.

TMZ first reported on December 2 that she had tested positive, as had her half-sister Kathy Hilton, who is a friend of the show in the upcoming eleventh season.
Her costar Dorit Kemsley also tested positive, but the show’s shutdown prior to Thanksgiving was initially attributed only to crew members getting sick.
Kyle was later seen shopping in public on November 30, though it’s unclear if she was experiencing symptoms, had gotten her test results back yet, or if she had been instructed to isolate following the shut down.

Season 11 of The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills is expected to resume filming as soon as everyone is well again, and it’s expected to premiere in 2021.
In addition to her half-sister Kathy, Crystal Kung Minkoff will be joining the long-running reality show.
Returning stars Lisa Rinna, Dorit Kemsley, Erika Jayne, Garcelle Beauvais and Sutton Stracke will also be featured.
Season 10 fixtures Denise Richards and Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave won’t be returning, however.
Denise infamously feuded with guest of the show Brandi Glanville, who claimed that they had sex early in Denise’s run on the series.
Teddi announced that her contract hadn’t been renewed after three seasons on the show.
RHOC’s sister franchise The Real Housewives Of Atlanta also shut down production earlier this month due to a COVID-19 outbreak, which was reportedly due to a member of the production staff testing positive.
