Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler are getting a divorce after 10 years together

Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler are getting a divorce, after 10 years of marriage.

The Hills star broke the news over social media today, explaining they had been “growing apart” from one another in recent times.

Kristen said: “With great sadness, after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce.

“We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of.

“This is just the situation of two people growing apart. We ask everyone to respect our privacy as we navigate this difficult time within our family.”

Kristen and Jay officially tied the knot back in 2013

Kristen and Jay are proud parents to three children – Camden Jack Cutler, seven, Jaxon Wyatt Cutler, five, and Saylor James Cutler, four.

Jay first popped the question back in 2011, though the two temporarily ended their relationship after their engagement party.

Winning her over yet again, Jay sent Kristen an engagement ring in the post as a romantic gesture.

Jay regularly appeared on Kristen’s namesake show, Very Cavallari

Speaking to E! News about the sweet show of affection, she said: “He sent my ring in the mail. So I actually had my ring sitting at home for a couple of weeks before I put it on.”

The reality star tied the knot with former Chicago Bears quarterback Jay back in 2013, walking down the aisle in Nashville, Tennessee.

Jay regularly appeared on Kristen’s namesake show, Very Cavallari, which followed her journey as an entrepreneur and store-owner.

Kristen insisted the two have nothing but “love and respect for one another”

The former flames moved into a new mansion together in 2018, splashing $4.2 million (£3.3million) on a stylish pad in Nashville.

More recently, the family had been self-isolating together in the Bahamas, before finally returning to the US on Monday.
