Kristen Stewart’s latest public appearance may have been in France – but in a red, white and blue top, and brandishing the Star-Spangled Banner, there’s no mistaking where she’s from.

The Charlie’s Angels actress stepped out in the distinctive ensemble – complete with new pink hair – in Deauville, France yesterday.

The US-born star – who is attending the Deauville American Film Festival – was receiving a cabin sign of her name along the Promenade des Planches, the French equivalent of getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Except much more chic, of course.

Kristen’s photocall follows her recent appearance at the Toronto International Film Festival, where she was asked about her ex Robert Pattinson winning the role of Batman.

‘I feel like he’s the only guy that could play that part,’ she told Variety.

‘I’m so happy for him. It’s crazy. I’m very, very happy about that. I heard that and I was like, “Oh man!” It’s awesome.’

Meanwhile, the star also opened up about her relationships with women in a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar.

‘Like what, you can’t go outside with who you’re with?’ she opined to the publication. ‘You can’t talk about it in an interview?

‘I was informed by an old-school mentality, which is – you want to preserve your career and your success and your productivity, and there are people in the world who don’t like you, and they don’t like that you date girls, and they don’t like that you don’t identify as a quote unquote “lesbian”, but you also don’t identify as a quote unquote “heterosexual”.

‘And people like to know stuff, so what the f***are you?’

She furthermore added: ‘I just think we’re all kind of getting to a place where – I don’t know, evolution’s a weird thing – we’re all becoming incredibly ambiguous. And it’s this really gorgeous thing.’

Kristen is of course known for movies like the Twilight franchise as well as artier fare like Personal Shopper and new drama Seberg.

Her new Charlie’s Angels movie, out on 29 November, will also feature Naomi Scott and Elizabeth Banks.
