Vanessa Bryant has shared another heartbreaking tribute to daughter Gianna, while trying to express the grief she is feeling to fans.

She lost husband Kobe, 41, and daughter Gianna, 13, in a helicopter crash in Calabasas last month. They were two of the nine passengers killed in the crash.

Sharing a sweet montage of Gianna playing basketball, Vanessa said she feels ‘so mad’ that her baby girl has been taken away from her so soon and shed some light on just how difficult it’s been for to come to terms with losing both Gigi and Kobe.

She wrote: ‘I’ve been reluctant to put my feelings into words. My brain refuses to accept that both Kobe and Gigi are gone. I can’t process both at the same time.

‘It’s like I’m trying to process Kobe being gone but my body refuses to accept my Gigi will never come back to me. It feels wrong. Why should I be able to wake up another day when my baby girl isn’t being able to have that opportunity?! I’m so mad. She had so much life to live.’

Vanessa said that she is torn between her anger and staying strong for her three other daughters she shares with basketball legend Kobe.

She continued: ‘Then I realize I need to be strong and be here for my 3 daughters. Mad I’m not with Kobe and Gigi but thankful I’m here with Natalia, Bianka and Capri. I know what I’m feeling is normal. It’s part of the grieving process.

‘I just wanted to share in case there’s anyone out there that’s experienced a loss like this. God I wish they were here and this nightmare would be over. Praying for all of the victims of this horrible tragedy. Please continue to pray for all.’

Vanessa first broke her silence just days after news of the crash surfaced and told fans: ‘I take comfort in knowing that Kobe and Gigi both knew that they were so deeply loved. We were so incredibly blessed to have them in our lives. I wish they were here with us forever.

‘We are also devastated for the families who lost their loved ones on Sunday, and we share in their grief intimately. There aren’t enough words to describe our pain right now.’

The helicopter was also carrying Gianna’s team-mates, Alyssa Altobelli and Payton Chester, Alyssa’s parents, John and Keri Altobelli, Payton’s mother Sarah Chester and their basketball coach Christina Mauser, as well as pilot Ara Zobayan.

The crash occurred on the same day as the Grammys took place in Los Angeles, with the ceremony honouring Kobe and Gianna throughout the awards.

Tributes also flooded in from fans and celebrities across social media, honouring Kobe and daughter Gianna, including messages from the likes of David Beckham, Beyonce and Rihanna, who said she’ll never really get over the former LA Lakers star’s death.

Director Spike Lee paid tribute to Kobe on the Oscars red carpet. He had Kobe’s jersey number 24 embroidered onto his suit, which was the same colours as the LA Lakers team.
