Jurgen Klopp has heaped praise on Alisson ahead of his 100th Liverpool game, claiming he can’t think of a game where the goalkeeper was not “spot on”.
Alisson moved to Anfield in 2018 after the Reds struck a deal with Roma worth £66.8million – then a world-record fee for a goalkeeper.
But the Brazilian quickly lived up to his price tag and his steadfast displays between the posts played a vital role in Liverpool’s recent Champions League and Premier League triumphs.
Alisson has an impressive record of 48 clean sheets in 99 games for the club and Klopp admits he is at a loss to recall a game where the 28-year-old played badly.

“After 100 games for Liverpool I don’t have to speak about the importance of Ali,” Klopp said ahead of Saturday’s Premier League clash at Brighton.
“I think he’s had 99 good ones so far, I can’t think of one where he hasn’t been spot on. I’m very happy with him.”
Alisson has made 11 appearances for Liverpool this season but missed two Premier League matches with a shoulder injury.

His absence was sorely felt as the Reds were thrashed 7-2 by Aston Villa before their 2-2 draw with Everton.
Considered one of the best goalkeepers in the world, Alisson is one of three Brazilians in the Liverpool squad alongside Roberto Firmino and Fabinho.
Firmino was among the goals in the 3-0 victory over Leicester last weekend, while Alisson was keen to highlight Fabinho’s contribution to the team earlier this month – as the natural midfielder continues to fill in at centre-back.
“I believe that Fabinho is the most important player for both the club and the national team,” Alisson told Globo Esporto .
“He is a very important player wherever he is, he always proves his worth on the pitch. He had been playing for [Virgil] van Dijk and… He can play as a number six, as a defender, he was a wide player in the past and these characteristics bring even more value to him.”
